In recent years it has been found that the direct impact of design is important on the process of the aging of the people that the structure itself hosts. If properly designed, a village for the elderly can converse continuously with the surrounding environment, favoring a continuous exchange of activities and services, and can improve the independence, dignity, health and the enjoyment of the very life of the elderly.
